Sales Training
The sales training contains:

  • Five (5) Residential Sales Consultant classes each year.
    • Two week program focused on technical and sales to better position the RSC for success in their market.
  • Two (2) Commercial Account Manager classes each year.
    • Two week class focused on technical and sales to better empower the RSC for success in their market.
  • Two (2) different sales programs provided for General Managers biannually, totaling 4 ½ training days, focusing on sales culture and everyday sales operation.

Technical Training
The technical training for technicians is comprised of:

  • HVAC tune-up procedural training semiannually
  • Heat exchanger and carbon monoxide inspection annually
  • Technical communication and ‘build-a-tech’ in the spring and fall
  • Continuous NATE certification and specialty courses as required

Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning is investing in further instruction through the launch of a Learning Management System, to drive assigned and ad hoc curriculum to better provide education to our technical staff.

Miscellaneous Training

  • Twice annually, conduct Operational Excellence for General Managers, to give support, resources, and framework for running a business from the P&L aspect.

Customer Service Specialist

  • Three (3) times annually, participate in outbound calling with a one (1) day program. In this program we study heating, ventilation, and air conditioning basics, what drives people to purchase, calling procedures, scripts, customer buying signals, and overcoming customer grievances.

Dispatcher

  • No formal training provided. As needed training provided by the General Manager and applicable staff in the office.
